- Screwdriver with a Philips 2 bit (PH 2)

- Computer parts for assembly

- Central processing unit (CPU)

- Motherboard with compatible CPU socket and firmware

- Random access memory (RAM)

- Power supply (PSU)

- Case (That supports motherboard)

- CPU cooler (if thermal paste is not included you also need to acquire some)

- Storage (Solid state storage is preferred as primary boot partition)

- ESD safe work mat (Preferred not absolutely necessary)

- Temporary storage for screws (Bowl, cup or magnetic tray)

When starting a PC build the first thing you need to do is clear some space to work so that the work becomes easier and the chances for damaging the computer or the surrounding things while you build. Start with taking the motherboard out of its box, if you do not have an ESD safe mat you should place the motherboard on top of the ESD safe bag the motherboard comes inside.
